I was born in Athens, so did my parents and my grandma.
My house was just below Monastiraki, at the corner of Ermou street and Avissinia square.
Three older brothers, and I the youngest, all very happy.
We used to eat our lunch the whole family together, and the table was dressed with a tablecloth and not with sous-plat, as it is customed today.
My mother would serve lunch and we ate all the food from the kettle. So for supper, french fries and eggs. My favourite until today.
